Daniel & Katie met on the track team at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2014. Despite initial trepidation about each other, due to their pairing of intense personalities, the two found the humanity in one another through a mutual distaste for long bus rides to competitions. After many hours of sharing music selections, movie favorites, & personal stories, Katie & Daniel grew closer. They came to find a satisfying blend of unwavering character & focus toward personal growth in the other, & so began their relationship. Having been together for 5 years, Daniel & Katie have sampled a full complement of life’s highs & lows. They have lived separately in different cities, mourned the loss of close family members, traveled through Europe, adopted cats, & celebrated life milestones. Through all of these experiences their love has matured, deepened, & coalesced. It is with great honor & reverence that they will call each other husband & wife on September 5, 2021.
